Absolute-ly the Coolest Dad in town.



This year the Absolute Hotel’s annual Father’s Day competition posed the question ‘Who is the coolest Dad in town?’. The response was over whelming with many heart-warming and funny stories in the mix. However, a gem was unearthed in Limerick man Patrick Collopy.  Patrick was nominated by fiancé Sophie Carroll and daughter Ava.
Sophie wrote lovingly on behalf of her daughter Ava depicting, a Father that will ‘let me paint your nails’, ‘read me bedtime stories, even if it is the same story I ask every night, which I always ask you to read more than a few times and you do without hesitation’ and how ‘he always has me smiling and laughing’.
Patrick, Sophie and Ava are pictured with Michelle Normoyle (Absolute Hotel) receiving his prize, dinner for two in Harry’s on the River and an 85-minute pampering session in Vanilla Browns. Father’s Day lunch is available on the 17th June from 1.00pm until 5.00pm in Harry’s on the River and all the father’s will receive a complimentary glass of Treaty City beer when dining.
