This year saw a record number of entries and the competition was fierce. After months of site inspections and judging throughout the country, the finalist have now been selected.  Not only have we been selected for  'Ireland's City Hotel',  we are also nominated for the people's choice award of 'Ireland's Favourite Place to Stay'. Team Absolute has themed up with Limerick City & County council as part of Kings Island conscious cup project. This project is to highlight the use of reusable cups, as disposable cups are not yet recyclable. It is estimated 500 billion take away coffee cups are used in one year, that’s one million cups a minute, every hour of every day of each year. In Ireland it is estimated we dispose of 200 million of these non- recyclable cups annually. In an effort to help we are giving a €0.20c discount on tea & coffee to those that bring their own reusable cup.
